Amy Cohen
Co-Founder & CEO, FIXX Development Corp
Co-Manager of Patriot Housing LV, LLC
Amy Cohen is the majority shareholder of FIXX Development Corp, bringing with her a wealth of diverse business experience. She was a partner in Omicron Granite and Stone, which was successfully acquired by Caesar Stone, and in Expediter, a company specializing in truck and trailer parts, which was acquired in 2022.
Additionally, Amy is a seasoned Interior Designer with 28 years of professional experience.
Amy is also a dedicated philanthropist, seamlessly blending her professional expertise with a commitment to community service. She currently volunteers at Jewish Family Services leading a class for seniors in current event discussions and previously volunteered at Hospice by the Sea.
Amy is particularly passionate about initiatives focused on improving the lives of veterans.
Jeff Pink
Co-Founder & President, FIXX Development Corp
Jeff Pink is the original visionary of the LV mixed-use project initially entitled Patriot Apartments. He has developed and built more than 2,000 apartment units and single-family homes.
Jeff also worked closely with the City of Los Angeles to build and refurbish homes through Federal NSP Funding received by the city.
Outside real estate development, Jeff founded the world’s first all-environmental-vehicle-rental company, which was featured in the Wall Street Journal.
He also served on the Boards of Junior Achievement and the Natural Gas Association.
Sheila Lambert
Co-Manager of Patriot Housing LV, LLC and Interim Director of Veterans Bridge Group
Sheila Lambert is the founder and Principal of Sage Grant Solutions, LLC and brings more than 30 years of experience in grant development, project management, and regulatory compliance.
She also serves as the Co-Manager of Patriot Housing LV, LLC providing operational support and serves as the Interim Director of Veterans Bridge Group.
She has secured more than $257 million in discretionary grants for nonprofit organizations and led numerous large-scale private and public sector initiatives focused on communities at-risk, veterans and youth.
Her career includes serving as Nevada’s Chief of Grant Management, managing Medicaid Managed Care Organization contracts, acting as Project Manager for the Department of Health and Human Services social and mental health services, serving as the Director for Clark County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and serving as Regional Marketing Director for an international architecture and engineering firm.
During COVID, Sheila launched Nevada’s first statewide behavioral health crisis services, benefiting veterans, youth, and underserved populations. She also secured Nevada’s inaugural pay-for-performance social innovation grants through Third Capital and the Harvard Kennedy Innovation Program.
Patrick Pharris
President & CEO, Pharris Media, Inc.
Patrick Pharris has served as a trusted strategic advisor to the President of FIXX Development since 2014, playing a pivotal role in the conceptualization and development of the Patriot Housing LV project over the past decade.
Throughout the project’s lifecycle, he has managed communications with key Las Vegas business leaders and government officials, ensuring alignment between the project’s goals and community priorities.
With over 35 years of experience in business development, marketing, and strategic communications, Patrick has advised leading companies including BMW, Monster Beverage Company, and many others across multiple industries, ranging from real estate development to alternative energy and consumer products in domestic and international markets.
His experience includes participating in the Solomon Smith Barney roadshow team that raised $650 million to develop the Las Vegas Monorail and securing nearly $100 million in sponsorship contracts for the public transit system.
Patrick has founded and operated seven marketing agencies, earned more than 30 industry awards, and has been referenced in more than 200 news articles and textbooks.
Benj Baird
Founder and Partner, Blackbox Design Studios
Benj Baird founded Blackbox Design Studios in 2008. Since then, the firm has enjoyed the compliment of numerous repeat clientele and referrals.
Benj began his career with a strong background in multi-family projects and he also specializes in commercial and custom residential design.
His extensive knowledge of construction techniques, city planning processes, and building codes benefits every project in the office.
He excels at creative problem solving and his passion for construction detailing strongly informs his design approach. He is licensed in multiple western states.
Stan Baratta
Executive Development Officer for Veterans Bridge Group
Stan Baratta is a senior development executive with more than 35 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising. He has raised more than $250 million for charitable causes, including seven-figure blended estate gifts.
For over two decades, he has focused on initiatives supporting veterans, the homeless, at-risk youth, and low-income families.
Stan established the Battleship USS Iowa Museum in San Pedro and led international work on the Guilin Flying Tigers Museum and Heritage Park in China.
His career also includes leadership roles with the Weingart Center and Habitat for Humanity, where he oversaw services for thousands of clients and the construction of more than 450 homes for veterans.
Bob Gronauer
Managing Partner, Kaempfer Crowell
Bob Gronauer is Managing Partner of Kaempfer Crowell and a leader in the firm’s Government Affairs Department.
With more than 25 years of experience, he represents developers and investors in zoning, land use, and entitlement matters across Southern Nevada.
He has served as lead counsel on major master-planned communities including Rhodes Ranch, Skye Canyon, Aliante, Tule Springs, and Apex Industrial Park.
Veterans Bridge Group
The mission is to eliminate veteran homelessness in Nevada by providing housing-first, trauma-informed care with integrated behavioral health and workforce support. VBG works to provide safe, dignified, and affordable transitional and permanent housing to veterans and their families in Clark County, Nevada, through public-private partnerships, wraparound services, and a housing-first approach.
The VBG was founded in 2019 and is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Nevada. VBG works directly or with community partners to empower veterans and their families toward economic independence and improved quality of life.
